Immersive and Micro-Learning
Immersive Learning
Immersive learning leverages virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence technologies to create highly engaging training experiences that simulate real-world scenarios. This approach creates a deep sense of presence through simulation, enhancing learning and retention. Research shows when designed and implemented effectively, immersive learning has the potential to significantly outperform traditional training methods in the areas of increased knowledge retention, reduced training time, and improved skill transfer.

Virtual Reality (VR) leads the charge with fully immersive experiences using headsets that transport learners into complete digital environments. This technology proves particularly effective for high-stakes training scenarios in healthcare, manufacturing, and emergency response.
Augmented Reality (AR) are interactive learning experiences using computer generated images overlayed onto real world scenarios and viewed through smartphones or specialized glasses. AR scenarios enhance learning by creating simulations of environments where the learner will apply the knowledge being taught, and by running learners through scenarios they may encounter and have to apply their knowledge and skills within.
Micro Learning
Microlearning is a learning format that breaks down complex topics into focused, bite-sized lessons that can be completed in 2 to 15 minutes. These short modules deliver specific learning objectives using formats like augmented reality scenarios, videos, games, quizzes, or infographics that learners can access on-demand via their desktop or mobile devices. The approach aligns with the reality of time constraints in the workplace, allowing learners to build knowledge incrementally and when needed.
Research has shown that adult learners can only process 4-5 pieces of information at once, which is why breaking complex topics into focused modules is effective for learning. By spacing out these modules, learners can fully absorb each concept before moving to the next.

Using phones to deliver micro-learning is an effective way to engage employees and to scale quickly.
